Island Beekeeper Revelations Guide

Revelations are a new journal entry category added in the major August 2026 content update alongside 35 Steam achievements, Blackjack, the in-game map, and a new endgame event. These special entries are unlocked by consuming different types of honey across the islands, gradually revealing the mysterious backstory of the sky archipelago and its vanished beekeepers.

What Are Revelations

Unlike standard journal entries that track discoveries or completed objectives, Revelations are story fragments that emerge when you taste or consume specific honey varieties. Each honey type carries unique properties learned from the bees that produced it — and when you consume enough of a particular variety, fragments of the islands’ history begin to surface in your Journal.

The revelation system adds a narrative layer to the beekeeping loop. Instead of just producing honey for Earth orders, you are now uncovering why this mission matters and what happened to previous beekeepers who tried before you.

How to Trigger Revelations

To unlock Revelation entries:

Consume honey regularly — Use honey items ( jars, potions, or honey-based foods ) as part of your gameplay routine. Different consumption actions trigger different revelations.

Variety matters — The August 2026 update notes specifically mention that Revelations are unlocked by “consuming different types of honey.” This means sampling honey from multiple bee species across different islands, not just mass-producing one variety.

Track your consumption — The Journal (J key) logs Revelation entries separately from standard discoveries. Check your Journal after consuming honey to see if new entries have appeared.

Honey Types and Their Revelations

Different bee species and island biomes produce honey with distinct properties. While exact revelation triggers are based on community discovery, here is what is generally known:
